Bolgheri is een wijndorp in Toscane waar rode, witte en rosé wijnen gemaakt worden. Rondom het dorp is een grote verscheidenheid aan druiven aangeplant. Voor de rode wijnen zijn Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot en Cabernet Franc aangeplant. Voor de witte wijnen verbouwd met Vermentino, Sauvignon Blanc en Viognier. Voor de rosé wijnen worden de Italiaanse druiven Sangiovese en de zwarte Malvasia gebruikt. De wijnen van de Bolgheri DOC worden niet jong uitgegeven maar moeten eerst vier jaar in de kelder rijpen.
